About Us
Tide Records is a rapidly emerging record label and production house founded in 2025. Based in Bath, we look to find inspiring and undiscovered artists and provide them with support in all aspects of their music journey. As a record label, we strive to create artist success, assisting with everything from marketing to distribution.
Setting Tide Records apart is its roots. As founders, we come from a background in live performance and music production. This valuable insight sits at the core of what we do. Where an artist may feel lost in their musical direction, our skillset can guide them not just through the world of music business, but through what should matter most. The music.
While setting up the company, we have been extremely mindful of the current state of the music industry. At Tide Records we are aware of the often-exploitative contracts that small artists face when signing with a record label. This situation is a result of shrinking avenues of profitability available through releasing music. For healthy profit margins, especially for investors, major labels must take unfairly large cuts of an artist’s earnings. We don’t have to operate this way.
At Tide Records we offer our services to anyone, whether it be in music production, marketing or general consultation, at an advertised fixed rate. This practice allows us to subsidise the label side of the business, enabling us to offer fair contracts to artists that truly reflect their value.
